Hoarfrost

We’ve been banked in by fog for several days now, and it’s also been really cold. The result: some truly stunning hoarfrost.

I was out and about today and took a whole bunch of photos. I created a Flickr set here.

Sometimes mother nature creates the must beautiful things out of something otherwise unpleasant…

    Did a slideshow of your pics. Wow, WC! Serene, cold, delicate, lovely. Fairy land!!Thanks for sharing. We’ve had freezing fog which is really odd. Haven’t taken any good photos of it.Enjoy your winter wonderland!
