I have an exciting month coming up.  It doesn’t start too auspiciously, though, because tomorrow I go to be poked & prodded for my annual physical by a new doctor, so I’m experiencing some anxiety over that.

I will be getting my new professional flat iron for my hair tomorrow, and I’m stoked about that.

And then it gets even better!  I’m going to Vancouver for 4 days to visit my brother & SIL, who are now ensconced in a 560 square foot shoe box in downtown Vancouver. I won’t be staying with them, though, because there will only be room for my dad at their place.  Instead, I’ll be staying my good friend Shihtzustaff, whom I’ve been online/phone friends with for quite some time, and we will finally get to meet when she and her partner and all their doggies host me during this visit.  I also hope to get to see some other friends while down at the coast, and I plan on going to Ikea to buy curtains & curtain rods, and I plan on eating a ton of sushi (Jem & Shan live right across the street from a $12 all you can eat sushi place!).  It’s going to be a super busy visit, but I am very excited.

I have a catering job at the end of the month, and a couple of other things to look forward to.

But most of all, I am looking forward to seeing the end of this disgustingly long and snowy winter.  Hopefully, that is.  I hope to start seeing some big time melting going on around, I hope to feel a bit warmer, I hope to start getting some spring zinginess in the air.

I can’t wait!
