Arrival!
September 30, 2011
Here in one piece, and so is Juno. Yesterday was positively traumatizing, and I almost didn’t make it through, but thanks to good friends and family, I did make it. I had to take extra risperdone and an Ativan, and I needed to listen to about an hour’s worth of relaxation exercises on my MP3 player in order to get to sleep. The coyotes yipped me a wonderful send-off during the night.
Juno did great during the car ride and it was a good call to give her a sedative. She is now in our new room sniffing things out. She seems OK.
Off to bed – I’m exhausted.
Mom, my hip is fine. More on the hip later.
Thanks for all the good wishes, everyone!

Great to hear you are both there safe and sound.
Let me say “Welcome to this new chapter of your life. May you and Juno have many happy adventures and blessings here. And we look forward to hearing all about it here on your blog.”
I Second that comment 🙂
So happy you and the J-puss survived the big move. Onwards and upwards now my friend xx
I’m sure the move is going to be an excellent adventure for you! cheers.
I’m so glad that you both made it relatively unscathed. Rest, and give yourselves time to adjust.

The big wrench is over. That’s always the worst part. Now it’s just a new adventure!
